Empower Leader Certification Program

A 17-course leadership curriculum created to align manager behavior across a fast-scaling enterprise during a period of aggressive growth, acquisition, and sudden delivery disruption.

Project Management Curriculum Development ILT / VILT / eLearning Stakeholder Alignment

Overview

I led the program end-to-end as project manager and lead developer, shaping a seven-month learning journey that blended instructor-led training, virtual workshops, and self-paced eLearning. The goal was to create a consistent leadership framework that could scale across legacy teams and newly integrated organizations.

Challenge

As the business prepared for multiple acquisitions, the associate population more than doubled, making leadership consistency a business-critical need. The curriculum had to be designed and launched in roughly six months, and midway through development COVID forced a full pivot from in-person delivery to virtual formats.

Approach

I structured the program as a cohesive, scalable curriculum and built repeatable templates to accelerate production across 17 courses. I coordinated stakeholders and SMEs, guided content through review cycles, and redesigned instructor-led experiences for virtual delivery while preserving interaction, pacing, and learner engagement.

Outcome

The program launched on schedule and became a durable foundation for leadership development across the enterprise. Within its first two years, 1,187 managers completed the program, helping standardize management practices during a period of rapid growth and organizational change.
